Saturday July 28 and Sunday July 29 is the 64th Annual #Glenview Art League Show.
The oldest running art show in Illinois. Back in 1954 the founding gang of artists hung their paintings on chicken wire between trees along the parkway and across driveways. Since 1957 teh show has been held on the grounds of the Lyons School on the corner of Waukegan Rd & Lake St - on the grass under the oak trees, The wonderful Sandy Sheagren and her cast of volunteers create a community gathering of great people and beautiful intent.
Saturday August 4 & Sunday August 5 #Art At The Glen
Amy Amdur and her incredible team take over The Glen transforming the main street into a Gallery like you've never seen before. This is one of the coolest Chicago suburban shows. A fan favorite and fantastic destination. you could make a day of it. All Day! Great restaurant. Movie Theatre. Lots of parking - accessible. So Much. And then there is the Art! Over 180 artists across all mediums will be on display. Cozy and magnificent.
