Fashion Update! Everything Old is New Again

There's a wonderful song I used to love to sing in my former singing days titled; "Everything Old is New Again," written by Carole Bayer-Sager and the incredibly talented Peter Allen. For those of you who love trivia Peter Allen was Judy Garland's son in law for the seven years he was married to Judy's daughter Liza Minnelli. When I was working in Sydney Australia in 1998 one night I decided to go to the theatre and that's when I saw the world premiere of the musical; "The Boy From Oz." Based on Allen's life it was spectacular and this song the big showstopper.

I used to love to perform it and now I find myself humming it every so often. Like yesterday when I was staring at my closet deciding what was going to stay and what I was going to giveaway. So - what does all this have to do with scarf style! Well, often at Art Shows I hear women say; "That changes everything..." I have an old dress I don't wear and now it will look brand new!" "I'm travelling and want to pack light - look different every night. That will do it." And I hear some wonder, "I see it goes with black but what about patterns..?" So as I hummed a few bars, I did a 'closet shop' and here's what I came up with. It was actually fun, time well spent without spending! Finding something you loved once upon a time in your closet, adding a fresh accessory to it can make everything old new again...
